These Limited Edition Sandals are made from traditional Moroccan Wedding Blankets, known in Arabic as Handira. These historically significant Berber textiles adorn women during marriage ceremonies and also accompany couples on their wedding night. Composed of tightly woven cotton, accented by surface treatments of fringe and metal sequins, the blanket symbolises blessings of health and wealth for the newlyweds.

The CALLA Hali Sandal is a 2 strap sandal made of Boucharouite rug. The cotton material wraps around the interior making them the softest and most comfortable sandals ever! They suit all types of feet.

CALLA has created a sustainable line of Babouche slippers that embody conscientious design. Handmade from upcycled vintage Berber rugs, the slippers exist in limited edition - just a handful for each rug. Each pair is one-of-a-kind. We are proud to be working with local Moroccan craftspeople and supporting their traditions.

For every Babouche purchase, we plant a tree with One Tree Planted, helping to reach our goal of carbon neutrality.

A few things to know:

• The babouches have a leather sole. They can be worn outdoors but we recommend to avoid getting them wet.

• Babouches are handmade in the souk of Marrakesh, Morocco. Small imperfections are possible and we consider them part of the shoes charm.

• Fit: The Hali Sandals fit true to size. If in doubt, narrow feet should size down and wide feet should size up.

• Shipping: Ships from Paris, France with French Post Colissimo International (3-8 days depending on country). US clients benefit from Chronopost Express 2 day shipping. Tracking Number to be provided.

• Return/Exchange: Free Returns for clients in the EU. For other countries, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
